# aerology.ai > Trip-level flight disruption forecasting: departure and arrival delay > distributions, missed-connection risk, and cancellation probability for > itineraries of one to three legs. ## What this is Disruption forecasting for air itineraries, evaluated as a **trip** rather than as independent flights. A trip is one to three legs — nonstop, one connection, or two. For each leg we forecast **departure delay** and **arrival delay** as distributions rather than point estimates, together with the probability the flight does not operate at all. Composing those across legs is what produces the trip-level answers: whether each connection holds, the chance of missing one, and how late the final arrival is likely to be. Everything is probabilistic. A forecast here is a distribution over outcomes, not a single predicted time. ## Coverage and refresh Any flight with a US origin or destination — US domestic, plus international routes with one US endpoint. Flights between two non-US airports are out of scope. Predictions refresh about every five minutes. A trip enters the forecast window roughly 24 hours before scheduled departure; there is no forecast earlier than that. ## The live sample on the marketing site aerology.ai renders current predictions as an illustration. It is deliberately coarse, carries no schema stability and no availability guarantee, and is **not a data feed** — please do not build against it. This file is the intended discovery surface. There is nothing to be gained by crawling the site. ## Programmatic access Not yet available. A programmatic interface is planned, on its own hostname. **Automated callers are the expected audience, not an abuse case.** Access will be metered per key rather than gated behind bot detection. There is no signup endpoint yet. To join the waitlist, write to waitlist@aerology.ai. ## Terms Not a booking, pricing, or safety-of-flight recommendation. Forecasts are probabilistic and can be wrong. ## Contact agents@aerology.ai
